Game Certification Service
The Antix certification service provides publishers and developers with access to a suite of tests and processes to verify their games. The Antix signing system ensures that only games and their assets that have been properly signed will run on the game player shipped to consumers.
A dedicated team supports certification and signing. Certification criteria for Antix Game Player are transparent and made available to publishers.
Once games have been certified and signed they can be made available for preload or distributed to stores, either via the Antix Games Warehouse or through direct publisher/store relationships.
The Antix Certification service ensures that:
- Games submitted by developers are tested against defined conformance suites
- Certification criteria and test suite samples are published to authorised developers to support game development and subsequent certification submissions
- Regular progress updates are provided by Antix as games move through the different phases of the certification process
- Games are tested on:
- A conformance player reporting back approval or rejection results and recommendations
- Conformant and targeted devices covering a range of processors and operating systems
- A range of screen sizes, input methods and hardware parameters
- Errors and warnings regarding common mistakes and code problems are reported
- Recommendations for game code improvements are made to enhance game/device integration & performance such as: reducing battery drain, memory corruption and other such device incompatibilities...
- Only games digitally signed by Antix are installable on consumer devices
