Publishers, Developers
Publishers and Developers typically apply their resources to target devices that represent the largest addressable market with the minimum amount of porting effort. In a fragmented multi-screen world, this means some devices are seen as commercially viable targets and others as not worth the effort. The Antix approach maintains native performance and rights protection while consolidating these 'islands' of target devices into a single targetable group, thereby increasing the return on engineering investment and the longevity of the relevance of the game binary (since the format isn't tied to any particular device model or family, obsolescence is avoided and the revenue stream can be sustained).
Publishers can create new business models based on cross-platform gaming content and games that use social connections on networking sites and within online communities.
Tools (GDK) are free-of charge to registered developers. They present standard industry APIs (OpenKODE®, OpenGL® ES) and integrate with Microsoft® Visual Studio®, Eclipse™, or the developer's own toolchain.
