Antix Developer Programme

The Antix Developer Program provides access to resources, support and communities to engineers developing content for the Antix Game Player and those porting the Antix Game Player onto client platforms.

Game Developers

Through the program game developers targeting the complete spectrum of mobile handsets; from the entry level to the 3G enabled hardware accelerated devices at the top of the handset performance league table, will have access to resources that include:

  • Antix Game Development Kit (GDK), with the compiler and the debugger integrated with the popular IDEs, Eclipse and Microsoft’s Visual Studio (on Roadmap) with maintenance updates and bug fix releases;
  • Technical information on the handsets supporting the Antix Game Player;
  • Technical Forum and FAQ site for the sharing of information on development for the Antix Game Player;
  • Technical support via a tracked email system ensuring all queries are resolved with rapid response;
  • Information on new products embedding the Antix Game Player;
  • Game Certification service;
  • showcasing the available content to handset vendors.

Joining the program and registering for the GDK

You can register your interest in enrolling into the program and accessing the Antix GDK through a registration process. During this process Antix will validate your application for access to the GDK. If your application is successful you will be provided with online access to the Antix GDK terms and conditions.

If you agree to the associated terms and conditions then you will be enrolled into the Antix Developer Program as an Approved Antix Game Developer.

Antix will then enable access to the GDK via a download from the Antix support Website. Please note that the GDK is free of charge to qualifying game developers. The GDK terms and conditions can be viewed for consideration prior to the registration process.

Manufacturers

On agreement of contract and terms the Antix Engineering team works closely with manufacturers through the Antix Developer Program to port the Antix Game Player to the target handsets and devices.

The Antix Developer Program provides resources that include:
