The Reading Enterprise Centre is in the University of Reading Whiteknights campus. It is in a prime location in the South-East of England and has excellent transport links. Reading's railway station has direct high speed links to and from London Paddington (30 mins) and London Waterloo (65 mins) as well as regular services to and from other cities around the UK. There are direct services to and from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports. The Reading Enterprise Centre is approx 2 miles from Junction 10 or 11 of the M4 motorway allowing easy access by car and to Heathrow International Airport (25 miles).
The easiest and most direct route is via the M4 motorway. If you are travelling from London Heathrow, London Gatwick or other London Airports, the M4 is accessed from Junction 15 on the M25 London orbital).
Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 11. Please note that there have been recent changes to the road layout at the top of the slip road.

Reading is a mainline train station and is easily accessible from most other places around the UK. There are direct trains from a number of major cities as well as a large number of routes through London. If you are travelling from or via London the best (and quickest) route to take is from London's Paddington station.
Trains from Paddington to Reading run approximately every 15-20 minutes throughout the day and the average journey time is around 30 minutes.

PLUSBUS is available in Reading. PLUSBUS is a cheap bus pass (like a travelcard) that you buy with your train ticket at any National Rail station booking office, by phone or online. It gives you unlimited bus travel around the whole urban area of the origin and/or destination town of your train journey, including to and from the rail station.
Once you arrive at the train station you will need to get a taxi or bus to the University campus. The bus stand and taxi rank can be found outside the station. A taxi will cost you approximately £6 and a bus journey will cost you £1.70 (you will need the exact money as the buses do not give change).

The RailAir Bus picks up passengers from stands 1 and 2 at the Central Bus Station, and stand 10 at the Terminal 5 Bus and Coach Station. After you have collected your luggage and passed customs, follow the directions, outlined below, from your terminal to the Central Bus Station.
Tickets can be purchased from the counter in the Central Bus Station, and from the National Express Sales Desk at Terminal 5. A single ticket costs £14, and return tickets are also available. Coaches run every 20 minutes, and take one hour.

Direct trains run to Reading from Gatwick Airport every hour and take about 1hr 15 minutes. A single ticket costs around £15 and can be purchased at the station in Gatwick airport.
If you are travelling to Reading by National Express Coach you will be dropped off at Calcot (next to a large Sainsbury's supermarket). In order to get to the University campus you must first take a bus to the train station and then take a second bus to the University.
The buses that run from Calcot to the train station are numbers 25, 44, 101, 102 or 103. The bus fare costs £1.70 each way and you will need the exact money as the buses do not give change.
